Demining

Ubique demining was setup in Pakistan in 2020 to help local government deal with the large amount of mines that have been causing many fatalities and injuries in the border areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Ubique has specialist teams of Ex Pakistan Army Corp of engineers and Corp of Ordanance personel.

With their vast knowledge of demining gained from the border insurgency and attachment to UN peacekeeping missions around the world. Pakistan is second in the world at supplying troops to the UN.
Ubique offers the complete package of mine clearing services by highly trained mine clearing specialists.
We maintain the highest international standards of safety, discipline, and training of our personnel in support of our mine clearing operations.
We coordinate closely with local governmental branches, municipalities and clients throughout the mine clearing operation.
By utilizing a combination of disciplines we are able to provide comprehensive demining services.

Drone Surveying & GIS

Ubique Utilises the latest in DRONE technology and tried and trusted methods to demine areas in the safest and cost effective manner.

We deploy Wingtra Drones to survey and map the area that has to be cleared
During a drone survey with an RGB camera, the ground is photographed several times from different angles, and each image is tagged with coordinates.
This data is then used to give coordinates to the de mining team and secondary mine sensing drone team.

Detailed 3D mapping

Photogrammetry combines images that contain the same point on the ground from multiple vantage points to yield detailed 2D and 3D maps.
Unlike manned aircraft or satellite imagery, drones can fly at a much lower altitude, making the generation of high-resolution, high-accuracy data, much faster, less expensive and independent of atmospheric conditions such as cloud cover.

Airborne Demining System

Step 1: Mapping

Step 2: Detection

Step 3: Detonation

The solution offered by the use two drones – the MK Manta and MK Destiny – to survey entire stretches of land, and then detect landmines by pinpointing their position on a 3D map. The unmanned vehicles are operated from a distance, without any danger to deminers, and they offer an easy to implement detection process which is at least 10 times faster and 40 times cheaper than current methods.

Mechanical Demining

Depending on the types of mines we can then deploy the appropriate mechanical demining equipment whether it be Flails, ploughs or sifters
